As I am not a floral scent kinda gal, so this particular aroma suits me well. The amber liquid has a warm spicy musky wood tone with a smoky vanilla balsamic top coat. I found this scent way back when, around my mid-twenties I would say. It is the only scent I have used from that point on. I hoard bottles just in case the line is discontinued - hopefully never!

As everyone knows a perfume changes with whomever wears it and this one complements me perfectly.

BALENCIAGA PARIS

From the moment my hand reaches out to grasp the bell-like flacon, a pleasant surprise begins to take hold. Soft angles of the warm glass nestle into my palm as every joint in the semi-circle of my thumb and index finger enmeshes it like two teenagers embraced in a kiss. The angles rise, as does my gaze, to a round apex cinched by a collar of creamy marble feathered with white tendrils. The collar, like a Victorian ruff, speaks to your status and my pliant attention stills for an introduction. Your Spanish heritage and your French home are enshrined in the marble as a crown of matte black jewels in a bold Arial display. Confident but not unkind.…
