Chairs Prompt – May 1, ‘21
It was October – I don’t remember which day – 1994. O.J. Simpson was arrested for murder, Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley got married, Michael Jordan made his baseball debut, Friends leapt into our hearts, and the Baxters moved across the street from me.
In our quiet little neighbourhood not much happened that others weren’t aware of. Most things were like water off a duck’s back and didn’t mean anything to anyone so they tended to forget even if they did know to begin with. I, on the other hand, was a writer; so I paid attention to my environment and took notes about pretty much anything I saw.…
