A way of Becoming
A long and arduous journey
From the bottomless pit of hell
From the ravages of war
Countless hurdles that seem
Insurmountable
Impossible
From deaths in the desert
To frigid and frozen stops
It is pointless if you choose
But in forging ahead
Despite the elements
Despite the situation
That is when you see
The turning point to
Becoming
And this is only
One way of becoming…

April 7th – A Way of Becoming
Why is it that some people struggle so?
Undecided which way they should go.
It’s hard to know what you don’t know
But lessons learned and so we grow.
Are we born with direction deep inside?
And all our life the rules we do abide.
Hidden within amongst humble pride
Creativity harnessed – no ebb and tide.
Is there a way of becoming you?
Discover what it is you are meant to do.
Do what’s required to pay your dues
And you will uncover what’s true to you.
But why is it necessary to struggle so?
Just pick a path and away we go.
You need the lessons offered, so
You finally learn…
A Way Of Becoming

Words have a way
Of becoming
A bridge between
Ignorance and
Enlightenment
But only if
The path across
Is paved by truth
