DAY 29- EXPRESSION OF EXISTENCE
I hear her voice through the ages
An echo whispering in my ear
Of hardship suffered, broken hearts
Of journeys chosen, unknown paths
Her history hidden, hushed away
Like a mortal sin best forgot
Until all that remains are the
Whispers of her broken pieces
Whispers speaking her name, whispers
Painting her face, whispers guiding
My finger along the trail joining
The pieces of her life to mine.

I love the phrase "Pay attention"- reminds me of Mary Oliver!
Expression of Existence
Why do we exist?
A question for the ages.
I don’t know, don’t ask.

April 29th – Expression of Existence
From that first full lung wail as we breach the safety of the womb.
Forever forward then until we lay at rest ensconced in ground or tomb.
There is a drive, a need, an inner desire to make our time upon this earth worthwhile.
We discover ways to fill our time but are they truly goals that make us smile?
It is fact, true to human character – we explore, go off on tangents, roads, to learn,
Never feeling the urgency of finding or getting it all too soon or even all we yearn.
Events in our lives flag our pathway along the journey and it becomes urgency to take stock.
Did we do…
