April 19th – Two Choices
Choice of one way over another to see
Just where will this one lead me?
Where will I go from there?
So many thoughts without so much care.
Sign posts along life’s journey
Picking one over the other to please
Tempting us to make and take a choice
Roads diverging and we raise our voice.
Had I taken the other road,
Would my burden be lessened or a heavier load?
If only I had one – and not confused by two choices.
If only I had listened to my heart and not the voices.
Their words come to mind as a warning
Advice unwarranted about where I’m going
What’s often good for the masses, you…
DAY 19- TWO CHOICES (HAIKU)
The best decision
I make is on Fridays: Cook
Or support local
WRITTEN BY LANA O’NEILL APRIL, 2021
Two Choices
Left or right
Black or white
Up or down
Smile or frown
The choice is yours
Not some great force
Make it a good one
It can’t all be about fun
It’s not a one shot deal
The struggle is real
Your future is on the line
How will you live your life?
