WFSC 2025 Writer’s Conference

Join us in celebrating our 20th year!

 

The WFSC celebrates its 20th Anniversary in 2025. Incorporated as a non-profit society in 2005, the Writers Foundation of Strathcona County has achieved community recognition and many membership writing achievements over the years.

9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Registration begins at 8:00 am

Register online. Pay for sessions online or at the door during registration. Conference fees are $40.00 for members or $50.00 for non-members for the whole day.

Coffee will be supplied for participants. Please bring a bagged lunch. Options are also available nearby for lunch.

1. 9:00 am – 10:15 am - Creating Strong Characters

            Break                         

2.10:30 am – 11:45 am - Diversity in Your Writing

            12:00 pm - 1:00 pm Lunch Break

3. 1:15 pm – 2:30 pm - Submitting to Magazines

            Break

4. 2:45 pm – 4:00 pm - Pitching & Query Letters ​
