WFSC 2018 Writers Conference - APRIL 28th

CALLING ALL AUTHORS! Join us for our 9th writers conference! Saturday, April 28th, 2018.

The Writers Foundation of Strathcona County invites you to join us for a full day of workshops, displays, information, and connecting with others who share your passion - the written word.

The theme is Get Your Words Out - promotion, marketing, events, social media, and publishing.

CONFERENCE AUTHOR READING

HOSTED BY DREAM WRITE PUBLISHING

All session presenters, participants, and invited guests are welcome to attend an evening of sharing featuring the works of 2018 Conference Presenters.

The reading will give participants a chance to hear the authors' published works and open a discussion on writing. The following day conference will build on their experience and writing to bring specific sessions to life. Everyone is welcome - free admission - RSVP to dreamwrite10@hotmail.com

(Visitor parking available - *note* no on-site road parking. Parking on main street. Centre is just inside the south entrance to Lakeside Village off Georgian Way.)

CONFERENCE INFORMATION:

All participants will be entered into a draw for a gift basket worth $100 (approximately).

Other draws will be made during each session for presenter books and other conference goodies.

A display area will be set up with Authors and other related Vendors sharing their products, services, or just connecting. Stop by each table and have a conversation to find out more about words, writing, and the industry. If you are interested in a table display, please contact us via wfscsherwoodpark@hotmail.com Tables are $25 each for vendors. Individual Authors can share a table and split the cost.

Conference details: 

• Coffee, tea, water and snacks will be provided. 
• Please bring your BROWN BAG lunch; otherwise there is sufficient time to visit the library cafe or mall food court. 
• Please visit the author displays for networking, information, events, projects, and members' books. 
• Register for a whole day or just one session.

Payment options: cheque or money order via mail; pay online using the links to our catalog. Walk-in registrations also welcome.  

MEMBERS - $80.00 

NON-MEMBERS- $100.00 If you wish to become a member, buy your membership first and then register as a member! 

Single sessions - $30.00 Single session registration available. Please indicate your session on the registration form.
